Christian author, blogger, and mental health advocate
Terica Turner is an author, blogger, and mental health advocate. She holds B.S. and M.A. degrees in Mathematics. Before transitioning to a more stress-free lifestyle, she taught for seven years to grades 6 – 12 and at the college level. She is a follower of Christ and has written several articles in The Gospel Journal.
Being affected by mental health issues, she uses her experiences to help others afflicted with mental health concerns. She is a firm believer that the topic of mental health does not have to be off-limits, as it is in many homes, families, and churches. So, she advocates to remove the stigma surrounding mental health. As a result, more people can be helped when they need it, suicides can be prevented, and we can all work toward being well and whole.
Terica is an Alabama native, has 5 nieces and 2 nephews, and enjoys writing and spending time with family.
